This series assembles wool, wood, and aluminium into tactile compositions shaped through wrapping, layering, and careful construction. Aluminium horse forms appear within the surfaces as subtle traces of presence.
Developed alongside Mara Arts' work at a horse farm in Vermont, the series reflects an ongoing dialogue with the animals and the lessons that arise through daily observation, care, and routine. Rather than depicting the animal directly, the works suggest moments of encounter, recognition, and presence.
Through these small assemblages, the works reflect on attention, trust, and forms of knowledge learned through observation, repetition, and care.
